The Hawai’i Preparatory Academy Energy laboratory is a zero-net-energy building. This has earned it a LEED rating of Platinum and a Living Building Challenge certification as well. This facility is used as an educational center for the academy to teach students a functioning example of sustainability and further education on sustainable sciences
